EXPERIENCE SUMMARY

Exploration Geology

Led the full exploration spectrum, from conceptual grass-roots projects to detailed geological investigations, focusing on precious (epithermal gold) and base metals deposits. Orchestrated exploration programs from inception, including budget development, assembling and training field crews, and meticulously organizing logistics for diverse drilling activities (core, RC, RAB, Bangka), geochemical sampling, costeaning, test pitting, and detailed mapping. Managed data meticulously, interpreted 3D geology, and performed robust resource estimations. My expertise is recognized as meeting "Competent Person" (CP) standards under JORC Code and other reporting requirements (e.g., NI 43-101).

Mining Geology

Led the Mining Geology Department for both open-pit and underground mines, ensuring accurate grade control and efficient production. Developed and implemented comprehensive procedures for detailed mapping, scheduling, production control, monitoring, and cost management. Utilized expertise in 3D geological modelling (Gemcom), pit optimization (Whittle 4x), data management (Micromine), resource and reserve estimation, and drill supervision and logging. Achieved consistent mine-mill reconciliation and reporting. Recognized as a Competent Person (CP) under the JORC Code and other reporting standards (e.g., NI 43-101).

Independent Consulting

Delivered consistently reliable and industry-standard work for clients across various aspects of mineral resource evaluation. Established robust systems and procedures to ensure meticulous research, informed opinions, and sound recommendations in client reports. My expertise encompasses tasks like resource and reserve estimation, 3D orebody modelling, data management, compelling presentation graphics, project management, independent geologist reports, technical audits, mineral asset evaluation, and pit optimization. I consistently exercise the highest professional standards to ensure client satisfaction and exceed expectations. Recognized as a "Competent Person" (CP) under the JORC Code and other reporting guidelines (e.g., NI 43-101).

Management

Built and led a thriving medium-sized company through strategic planning and motivated leadership. Spearheaded employee training and development, fostering a culture that empowered them to excel. Oversaw administrative and financial operations with a focus on quality assurance, ensuring adherence to high standards across business development, client service, and delivery.

Computer Knowledge

Leveraging over 35 years of experience in data management, I excel at validating, analysing, and visualizing spatial data using various software tools. Proficient in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), Micromine, Gemcom, Whittle Four-X, Winsurf, GeoCalc, and more. I possess fundamental programming skills in Visual Basic and Pascal, allowing me to tailor solutions as needed. Additionally, I have provided expert technical support for Micromine and Gemcom software, both remotely and on-site.

Natural Resources Involved (Competent Person)

Possesses extensive hands-on experience across the entire mining value chain, from spatial data management and 3D modelling to resource and reserve estimation. Possesses in-depth knowledge of diverse commodities including gold (epithermal and alluvial), silver, alluvial diamonds, nickel, iron ore (banded and sands), copper, coal, chromite, marble, and aggregates.
