Duties and Responsibilities
|
|
GENERAL MANAGEMENT |
 |
Responsible for
the effective management of all projects to attain the Company set
objectives. |
 |
Project-in-charge
of the Bulk Gold (GW orebody) and porphyry copper projects in Benguet
Gold Operations. |
 |
Responsible for
estimating gold resources and reserves of all projects. |
 |
Responsible for
preparing semester budget for the projects and maintaining a zero to 10%
variance based on actual expenses against budget. |
 |
Responsible for
the programming of drilling activities and its general supervision to
attain its objectives. |
 |
Responsible for
writing and submitting monthly reports, newsletters to higher
management. This includes writing comprehensive geologic reports. |
 |
Responsible for
training and motivating subordinates for greater job responsibilities. |
 |
The Senior Vice
President or Division Manager may assign other long or short-term
duties/responsibilities. |

RESEARCH |
 |
Comprehensive
literature research and compilation of prospects with potential
disseminated - replacement type gold and porphyry copper deposits in the
Baguio Gold District. |
 |
Research into
alteration mineralogy, geochemical gradients around ore bodies and
regional ore controls. |
 |
Delineation of
favourable areas for the possibility of discovering Au-Ag-Cu deposits. |

|
FIELD WORK |
 | Responsible
for detailed mine evaluations. |
 | Responsible
for the field verification (property investigation and valuation) of the
prospects as prioritised from the literature research phase. This
includes planning and budgeting expenses for the fieldwork. |
 | Supervision
for the accurate detailed (1:100 & 1:500) geologic mapping of the
projects and subsequent interpretation of the geology (i.e., from
reconnaissance to detailed work). This includes making geologic
sections, plans and other technical drafting works. |
 | Supervision
of the representative geochemical rock and soil sampling in search of
concealed orebodies. |
 | Responsible
for the location of costeans and test pits. |
 | Supervision
for the detailed and accurate logging and sampling of all DD cores and
RC samples. |
 | Responsible
for the rapid and sound geological interpretations of the project's
geology as exposed and mapped. |

Responsibility
for Decisions
|
|
Make most decisions concerning the projects' smooth overall progress. This
includes day to day interaction with subordinates and colleagues on the
projects' status, financial situation and other personal matters. |

|
Responsibility
for Profit and Loss
|
|
|
|
Responsible to the Company for the accurate gathering of geological data
that is useful for decision making and just disbursement of project funds. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
 | Communicates
daily with the Division Manager, and interacts with Project Consultants
(if any). |
 | Meet daily with
colleagues and subordinates for their reporting and instructions. |
 | Meets with
local officials when required. |
|

|
|
|
|
Spends 80% of the time on fieldwork and 20% for report writing, plotting
maps and other miscellaneous necessities. |
