Position
Summary
This position have dual reporting role to
the General Manager, China as well as the Managing Director of the Company and
provides prompt and full information of the Business or affairs of exploration
operations and in all respects conform and comply with all reasonable directions
given by the Board.
General
Duties and Responsibilities
 |
To undertake the role of
Exploration Manager for the China region which includes:
 |
responsibility for
the development and execution of the exploration programs in the
company’s tenements in China, |
|
management of the
exploration team personnel and exploration office in all project sites
|
|
preparation of
exploration budgets and supervision and control of expenditure,
|
|
management of the
Company's tenements including ensuring they are kept in good order as
well as the statutory reporting thereon, |
|
liaising with local
and provincial authorities and Joint Venture partners, |
|
ensuring that
international standards are met and appropriate training is provided to
personnel; |
|
|
Provision of technical
and management skills as well as leadership of a local team of technical and
support personnel in China |
|
Undertaking where
required, discussions, presentations and negotiations with existing and
potential investors, brokers and finance providers; |
|
Assisting with the
organisation and management of the Company in China and Australia, and
|
|
Liaising with the
Australian operations in terms of reporting, budgets, audits and other
matters as required. |
