Position
Summary
This position reports to the Group Manager,
and carries out technical assignments under the supervision of the designated
Project Manager while managing and mitigating AMC's exposure to risk.

Major Duties
CONSULTING
 |
Carry our
technical assignments under the supervision of the designated
Project Manager |
 |
Prepare reports
according to the AMC Report Style Manual |
 |
Work within time and
expense budgets provided by the Project Manager |
 |
Act as Project Manager
for designated projects, as advised by the Group Manager |
 |
Act as Peer Reviewer for
designated projects, as advised by the Group Manager |
GENERAL
 |
Maintain the
standards set out in various AMC Manuals |
 |
Compliance with
Occupational Health and Safety Manual |
 |
Submit timesheets and
expense claims |
 |
Other duties as may be
assigned |
HUMAN RESOURCES
 |
Manage own personal
and professional development |
 |
Supervise, as requested,
activities of junior, graduate, temporary and support staff |
MARKETING
 |
Maintain good relations with
clients to advance the reputation of AMC |
RISK MANAGEMENT
 |
Ensure compliance
with relevant statutes, codes of practices etc. |

Compliance with Risk
Management Plan |
 |
Ensure that all material
verbal discussions with the client are recorded in a file note and confirmed
with the client in writing |

Advise Project Manager of any potential or actual
disputes with the client |
 |
Identify and report potential risks |
May
also be appointed as Senior Consultant or Principal Consultant
with the following additional duties.
HUMAN RESOURCES

Supervise, as required, activities of
other staff |

Coach, mentor and develop this skills of more
junior staff |

Assist in staff recruitment as required |

Develop supervisory and management skills |
MARKETING
 |
Pro-actively pursue AMC's business development |

Pro-actively pursue marketing activities to
promote AMC (eg. regularly publish technical papers or articles, attend
technical conferences) |

Bring in work for other consultants |

Cross-sell AMC's skill to existing clients |
