Experience
As the Group Data
Management Geologist, I reported to the Exploration Director and computerised
all the exploration data using Micromine Version 6.6 software. I also performed
data entry, validation, statistical and geostatistical analysis for the final
mineral resource and ore reserve estimations. The job enhanced my skills in
complex procedures and methods. I especially liked the fieldwork and the
management support of the position.

Mas -- As
a senior expatriate geologist, I lead the Data Management Section of
the company. I oversee the computerisation, validation and preliminary
analysis of all the drill holes that define the resources. I also manage the
data entry, validation and processing (using both geostatistical and manual
methods) of the PC-based systems, as well as the Survey and Drafting Units. |

Kencana --As
a senior expatriate geologist, I planned and implemented diamond core
drilling programs for detailed geological logging, resource/reserve
definition, metallurgical testing and geotechnical studies. I also handled
all the computer data entry and processing, using spreadsheets, word
processors, statistical and geostatistical packages and MICROMINE Version
6.6 software. My main goal was to validate all the electronic data for the
Pre-Feasibility Study. I computerised and validated all the relevant data
for the Mirah Gold Project, ensuring the data integrity for the pre
feasibility study. The estimated ore reserves were 2.9 million tonnes with
2.2 grams of gold and 51 grams of silver per tonne |

Management Services --
As a senior
expatriate geologist, I established and maintained the Technical Library
database for Pelsart Group. I computerised the database using dBase IV
software and trained two national geologists on detailed 1:1000m geological
mapping. I also taught three national geologists how to use Micromine
Version 6.3 and 6.6 software. In addition, I conducted a preliminary
geological investigation of a walk-in offer in West Java. |
I organised
and led the Ore Reserves and Technical Audit Team for the Pelsart Group
before I left the company. I set up the team of qualified technical staff
and defined the procedures, budget and work plan for the job.
