Experience
Responsible to the President for the Exploration Department and to the Vice President for Operations concerning the Mine Geology Department. I was hired as Resident Mine Geologist and six months later promoted to Chief Geologist of the new Geology Division encompassing the Exploration, Mine Geology and Drilling Departments. Job included mine planning and development, drafting policies, rules and regulations, establishing working attitudes and recruitment of qualified key personnel.
Achievements
A pioneer staff who initiated and established the mine, with underground ore reserves of 1.2 million tonnes at 14 gms Au/t and open pit ore reserves of 400,000 tonnes at 3.5 gms Au/t. The mine produced an average of 25 Kg of gold a month.
One exploration project after detailed geological mapping advanced to the drilling stage where we delineated an additional mineral resource of 500,000 tonnes at 4.1 gms Au/t. |
